Ceiling Suspended Air Conditioning units are an ideal substitute for Ceiling Mounted Cassette Air Conditioning Units. Ceiling Suspended Air Conditioning Units can also be installed as an ideal low wall mounted air conditioning system. As a ceiling suspended system they are the answer in conditions where high level treated air discharge is required. This style of unit would effectively cover an area that has fittings, fixtures or low partitions, but there is no ceiling void to accommodate the obvious candidate of a ceiling mounted cassette. The air discharge from a standard wall mounted air handler would not be suitable because it would deflect from fittings or obstacles and not effectively throw the treated air throughout the whole area. These ceiling suspended units are primarily designed to be mounted with their backs close to a suitable wall with the air discharge then blowing across or along the length of the area. The pipe and electrics entry is sited at the back of the air handler and this allow the pipes and connection to be taken through the wall that the unit is backed against. This allows for total concealment of all pipework, electrical wiring and drains from inside the room, and gives a very neat finished appearance. | |
